Best hot dog I have had in a long time. Not many places around where you can just get a great hot dog. Definitely recommend!
It's rare to, in this world, eat at restaurant where your great-great-grandparents, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, along with your descendants dined. The longevity says something both about their food and how their customers feel about them. Charlie Joseph's is a special place. The food has not changed for several generations. It beats the heck out of chain restaurants. It is locally owned and operated. The decor in their dining room is a walk through LaGrange's history.
Always incredibly friendly service, and good food for a good price. Both locations have their own merits, and I highly suggest trying both!
Best hotdog RESTRAUNT ever it has great hotdogs but overall the hamburgers kinda lil suck but overall it's a good place 4 stars and also the people are nice
If new to LaGrange, visiting one of our great West Point Lake parks or enjoying family fun at Great Wolf, your visit won't be complete without experiencing one of LaGranges longest running traditions, treat your family to one of the best hotdogs in the southeast. Stopped here for a quick bite to eat. As I do not live here, and only had a short time for lunch- I was pleased with my choices. Didn't go with a burger or a hot dog, as much as I wanted to. I ordered a pimiento cheese sandwich on toasted wheat, and a bowl of Brunswick stew with a side of cornbread. First off, the drive thru is set up old school. Simple board, you get to window number one and you order and pay. Drive to the second window and get your food. The gentleman who was at the second window- he was so kind, I wonder if that's the owner. If he isn't, his service is at the same level! I didn't wait to drive back to work. I just parked in the lot (drive thru only) and wolfed down the sandwich. Perfect texture on the toast, the cheese was so good! Homemade, obviously and one thing I'd come back to order with a few crackers and snack on. Toast didn't melt the cheese either. Just a perfect quick bite. The stew was piping hot. Considering it's 85 degrees out, one would think I'd have chosen something less scorching but I can never say no to Brunswick stew. Sadly they must've been out of cornbread because I received oyster crackers, but they were nice to add into the stew. It's hearty and flavorful. I'll be back here to try other things. But I assure you the convenience and safety of operating only the drive thru gives me confidence about their safety and awareness. Support small businesses!
